When driving my car if I make sharp turns, well it's starting to even be not so sharp turns, I hear this clicking noise. A friend told me it sounded like a CV Joint, but I'm not even sure if my car has a CV Joint. I can't really afford to take my car to the shop. I'm no mechanic by any means but I can tinker a little bit and would like to try this at home. Any advice?

Hi there,

Your car is a front wheel drive, the drive shafts have CV joints fitted, if you are hearing a clicking noise on hard turns it will be a faulty CV. If you want to do this your self i suggest that you get hold of a work shop manual first and read that section, there are some tools that you will need that most home mechanic's don't have, so make sure that you know exactly what you need before attempting to do this job.
