I purchased a used 2002 Mazda 626 about 1 year ago and recently it has been overheating when the a/c unit is used. I replaced the water resevior which had a crack in it and there are no leaks from radiator, what could be the cause of this?

Hi miri01,

Are the radiator and condenser fans working?

Did you check the coolant level in the radiator?

If yes to both the above, you might have a weak water pump, partially stuck thermostat, clogged coolant passage or radiator.
