2001 Mazda 626 coming from the belts

Every morning when I star my vehicle I have very loud noises coming from my belts (i think), if I drive for a while I smell rubber burning. could this be the belts itself and if so how do I know which one it is?.
also why does smell like burning rubber?

It will either the belt is too tight, or one of your pulleys is possibly frozen up, causing the belt to heat up due to friction.

Pop the hood. You have two belts. Find out which belt is "melting" from the heat.
