I have just purchased a mazda 626 MK2 atlantis, and having had the MK1 a 323 and a ford probe I didnt expect to feel the vibration I am getting from what I believe is the engine. I can feel it on the gear leaver and the steering wheel the body. It does it wheather stationary or on the move, clutch in or out. I have listened to the engine but cannot hear anything drastic (I was worried about bearings) So I was wondering if it could be the engine mounts. I have heard the exhuast knocking now and again at idle.
if its the mounts I'll sort it myself but if you thinks it might be something worse I'll be taking it back.

Can you help please

Thanks

Hi there,

If you have heard the exhaust knocking on the body, this would be a fair indication that one or more of the mounts may be suspect, ii would be checking this out first.
