My left turn signal won't turn off. It doesn't blink. It just stays illuminated even when the car is off and the key out of the ignition. The right one works just fine. I even pulled the fuse, and it still stayed on. I had to disconnect the line to keep it from draining my battery. I've been turning wrenches since 1980, and I've never seen anything like this nor has my 78-year-old father. Please advise a puzzled guy in Austin, TX.

Hello -

To better assist you please tell me if your model is a ES or LX. Also your engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.

Thanks for replying so quickly.

My 626 is an LX model. It has a 2.0L 16-valve engine. Engine family YTKXV02.0VJM. The eighth digit of the VIN is "C".

Thanks in advance for your help.

Michael.

Hi Michael

Thanks for getting back with me.......

I am having some minor technical problems..... Should be fixed pretty quick..... Until then please go out and put the good right turn signal bulb in the place of the left and the left in the right and tell me what you get.......

Also while the bulbs are out....... Check really good for corrosion, defective wires, bare wires etc.....

Please let me know.......

Hello -

Also, it looks like you may have some recalls on your vehicle. The dealer may fix these for free. Please contact the dealer service department, give them the VIN number of your car and have them check on these to see if they apply to you.
