The car is over heating. Our mechanic said that we need to replace the thermostat. They are charging way too much money and we want to replace it our selves. However, we do not know how to locate it. Can you provide a drawing and easy instruction on how the replce this part?

If you follow the upper radiator hose to the engine, it should lead you to the thermostat housing. If it doesn't, let me know what engine you have.
