2000 Mazda 626 Car will not turn over in extreme cold

When the temperature is 15 degrees F or below the car will not turn over. It will crank just fine, sometimes sputter, but not turn over. When the temperature comes up to about 25 F, it will start. I have been putting HEET in the tank every fillup thinking that it was water in the gas line but the problem persists.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi slosjo,

There have been instances of the fuel pump relay freezing up in cold weather and I would suggest testing for fuel pump operations and pressure.
