The vehicle has recently started to "buck" some at lights. I should have taken it to get checked, however did not. After struggling up a snow covered hill this weekend, I found the car would only operate in 2nd gear and then only occasionally. I am almost certain I have killed the transmission, however wanted to see if there are any other possibilities as it is not worth replacing / rebuilding.

I does sound rather terminal, but it is wort getting a scan done just to see if it an electrical issue, and a trans specialist can do a test & report and this will give you a definitive answer on that question.. is it worth repairing.
