my mazda keeps locking me out of gears. most of the time i have 1st, 2nd and 3d. sometimes i'm stuck in a single gear, and on occasion it'll give me all of them for a short while. when i get stuck in one gear, i can get it out by continuously pumping them clutch for a few seconds. what's the deal?

Hi there,

This could be a number of things, check the clutch fluid, if low you will have a leak and air in the system, this will affect the clutch operation, the clutch could be faulty, you may have low or incorrect transmission oil, check all theses out and report back you findings.
