1999 Mazda 626 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

i have a 1999 mazda 626 and the gear is stuck in reverse. it will not move into any of the other gears even when the car is not started. the clutch was replaced about 6 months ago.

Hi there,
I would check that the selector cable is free and you can try disconnecting the cables and try to select neural at the selectors, if still stuck you may have to have the box removed and inspected for an internal fault.
