1997 Mazda 626 anti theft device

Computer problem
1997 Mazda 626 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Original ignition key is broken in half. Locally manufactured key will start vehicle but vehicle will run for short period of time only. How can the anti theft system problem be resolved?

Hi sccfmv,

The original key has the immobiliser sensor inside it, keep near the key cylinder and see if it helps.
