1996 Mazda 626 timing

I am trying to do the timing on my mazda 626 but i dont know wich spark pluge wire to put the timing gun on. if the # 1 is on the left then the # 4 is on the right. am i right or wrong

You put the timing light on the no.1 sparkplug wire make sure you jumper TEN to GND on the diagnostic link connector before you check it
