Hey guys,

I have a Mazda 626 that is showing signs of the notorious AT issues this model has. When driving the car, it has a hard time getting into either second or third gear, requiring I rev to around 4k rpms or feather the throttle at that range to shift.

I went to try a pan drop and change the fluid/filter, but I can't find where it is, or if this will even fix it.

Is there any guess as to if cleaning the pan/fluid will fix this, and if so - How do I get at it? So far I just found the cap on the front to the electronics, but no fluid access. Any help would be great! Thanks.

I finally was able to find information online - to those with the ford transmission (as is mine) it's sealed, and needs to be either rebuilt or flushed. If this is wrong let me know, but as is I'm about ready to dump this car
