Shakes or Wobbles problem
1995 Mazda 626 4 cyl Automatic 139000 miles

I took my car to a mechanic because it shakes really bad wen i am stopped in drive. The mechanic said I have to buy motor mounts. Could this be the problem?

Yes. If the motor mounts have failed due to wear and tear then it will cause you to feel vibrations. You may want to ask the repair shop to also inpsect the transmission mount as well.
