I've recently bought a 1995 Mazda 626. After having the transmission repaired, the car was sluggish, failing to accelerate quickly. I took it to a diagnostic center and came up with the following code: 181 Cruise Rich Limit, Bank 1 Still Lean.
They also found some gunk on the MAF sensor and cleaned it off. For the next few hours the car seemed to run fine. I just my friend home and the car cut off while idling and while driving home it sputtered.
So now I have two questions: 1) Am I going to need to replace my MAF sensor? 2) What is the worst case scenario if I wait 2 months with heavy highway driving. (I'm out of work.)
