Engine Cooling problem
1995 Mazda 626 100000 miles

I bought a used car, it showed up engine heating problem. My mechanic told me that it has head gasket problem and suggested me to change engine.I accepted and He changed engine.I got my car back yesterday. But today after driving it for 5 miles I noticed[ actually I checked by opening bannet] slight fumes from the back side of engine. Engine hot indicator is not showing anything. these fumes has no burning smell. Is it the normal to see these fumes? The fumes not that much visible from outside. I am new for cars. Please clear my doubt.

Hi there,

Just drive the car for a day or so, keep an eye on all the fluid levels, this just may be excess oil and grease on the exhaust & engine burning of after the installation, if the smoking continues get the mechanic who installed the engine to inspect this.
