1995 Mazda 626 1995 Mazda 626 Transmission problem

Hello I have a 1995 Mazda 626 2.0 the car runs great until I drive for a couple weeks then the O/D light starts blinking and the car starts slamming into gear. I end up taking the ground cable of the battery terminal and reset the computer ect. this way then the car drives fine for a couple more weeks. I had the transmission flushed about 6 months ago. Do you know what the problem could be? Thanks for the help.

next time the light comes on, get a scan done so we can check out what the set fault code is, we need this code to diagnose this further.
