A 1993 Mazda 626 with 165,500 miles was given to me. (Auto transmission) The previous owners disconnected the Temp Sensor because it would die often.

With TS connected the car starts great, runs for 10-15 minutes, warms up and then dies and struggles to start again if it does start at all. I disconnect the TS and it starts right away.

With the TS disconnected the car runs okay but at high idle. With TS disconnected the car starts fine in warm weather but takes about 10-15 minutes of starting to get it to start in cold weather (10 to 25 degrees)

Could it be the Temp Sensor or something else?

Sounds to me like a bad temperature sensor! Replace and see, they are a relatively cheap item, and easy to replace.
