Steering problem
1991 Mazda 626 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 245kms miles

My car just started making 2 distinct pops when I turn the wheel left, then 2 more as I turn the wheel back to straight (noise comes only from the front left side of the car). No problems turning right, but clearly something needs to be replaced. Any help would be appreciated.

a visual inspection is going to be best for you.

you can get under it and have a helper turn the wheels back and forth.

while you watch, listen use all of your senses.

you might even want to put your hands on some things
(SAFETY FIRST) and try to feel something "pop" when you hear the noise.
