Mazda does not start. Took to shop--they said needs new battery. Got new battery---now starts and drove it home. Next day started but quickly shut off, now cranks but no start.

They tested the ignition module ---found no signal voltage. I got one from salvage yard, put it in and now starts great. The module was located in the distributer. It was easy to replace ---only took 10 min. But I did read the repair manuel. I saved $ 150 fixing it my self.

Hope this helps others with mazda 626
