Hi ,
I am from Ireland I am driving a 08 2.0L Diesel ^sped manual, and over the last few days the engine light is appearing on & off on the dash & today while I was driving I attempted to over take in 3rd or 4th gear the car was taking along time to build up power & when it did I clutched to change gear the rev counter needle went right around the clock & the car made a very heavy noise like I had clutched & accelerated at the same time, any help pr advice I would be very very very greatfull!

Hi, welcome to the forum, I don't know what Mazda might export to Ireland. I live in the US. My database appeared to only show 2.3 four cylinder, that is gasoline. There were several Mazda 6s, can you take the model ID one step further? Is there a letter or number after the 6? I'd help you if I could, right now I'm not finding what I need?

jdl I got 2.3L in Mit1 ondemand5.com and also in Alldata nothing on 2.0L none whatsoever

This one is gonna be hard to deal with -No data to go by
