I have a 2005 mazda 6 with 89,000 miles. My original brakes have just started squealing and i am taking it in for service tomorrow. I have read that the front brakes take most of the wear. Do all four brakes wear evenly? Or do you generally need to replace only the front brakes?

Hi there,

with the brake bias on most cars you will easily fit 2 sets of front pads to one rear, and its not uncommon to do 3 to 1 on some cars, this will also depend on the compound used soft or hard.
