I'm told that the lower control arms are cracked on my car and that they need to be fixed at a cost of $770, plus $89 for alignment. In addition, they are telling me that my engine mount is cracked and needs to be replaced for $220.

Are these normal repairs for a five-year old car? What could have caused this damage to the front of my car? Are their estimates accurate?

Sounds a little fishy I would get a second opinion. Look for independent shop that is A.S.E. certified
