I have a 1997 Maxza 323F.... a few months ago the car started almost binny hopping when i was driving it and it was nothing to do with my clutch control!!! I brought it to the garage and i was told it was dirty fuel and he cleaned it out... 2 months later it has started again and now the car seems to be revving by itself when i turn it on.... can anyone tell me whats going on...

Appreciate any comments before i go to the garage again!!!

I have a 1998 Mazda B2500. i had the same problem with mine, it actually would carry itself down the road without me pushing the throttle. i changed the throttle position sensor and it fixed my problem.

One quikc thing to check is to see if there are any tears in the corrigated rubber tube going to the throttle body from the air box. If there are any air leaks there, you will have some strange problems.
