fuel problems

mazda 323, 1996, 104000, 1.5
hi ive recentlly put my car for its service and had the timing belt replaced along with spark plugs and leads. However since then i'm only getting around 15 miles to the gallon. Also the car is havin problems idling. What could be wrong? wb

Maybe what it needs is a major tune-up-with the idling problem could be an engine internal wear/fuel system/ignition system-

In order for an engine to run smooth it needs the correct air/fuel mixture, sufficient idle speed for the load and a good spark.
