1995 Mazda 323 throttle problem

My mazda is doing strange things on the throttle
when cold she stalls very easily, ie dies if i try to pull away on any less that 2000 rpm!

also she wont go above 3 quarters throttle (cold or hot), when you try she just coughs and misfires and tries to cut out or splutter around idol, makes no difference if you nail it or increase the throttle gradually,

lastly she appears to be running very rich (went to swansea the other day a round trip of about 110miles and it took £25 in petrol!) you can also smell un-burnt petrol when you come to a stop

she is the 1.5 twin cam, always been reliable until now!
starting to get concerned as the MOT is looming at the end of the month and I no the emissions are though the roof!

You need to have a look at the MAF and TPS.
Check the spark plugs and related parts first.
