Transmission problem
1993 Mazda 323 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 265 32 miles

my transmission is an automatic and it has a hold button on the shifter inside which is for overdrive i assume. my problem is the light in the dash of my car that come on when you push this button is flashing and it seems to be in overdrive through all gear so when i am drivin it does not shift out of fist until the rpms are around 4 thousand and from second to thrid it shifts at 80 km at about 4500 rpm and it will not go into fourth or od the transmission does not slip or anything it just started to do this one day i think it is electrical any advise it would be appreciated i have no way to donate money because i am just a student but would appreciate any help thank you
