1990 Mazda 323 - Coolant / temp issues

Cracked radiator led to overheat & blown head gasket. All fixed now + new thermostat + new alternator & battery & been running ok for last 4 weeks.
Yesterday, temp guage started to creep past half way mark when air con switched on. Left to cool down & temp return to just below half way (which has been it's normal position on the guage).
Parked the car up & then returned 10 mins later to find that coolant had leaked out onto the road. Turned on engine & temp guage was at normal level. Any help gratefully accepted - cheers.
Car has a low 66,000kms

Check all your hoses and replace if need be. Make sure they are clamped down good. Pressure test the coolant system. Check the overflow resevoir. Might have had to much coolant in the system and it let the excess out. Make sure your electric fans work with the a/c switched on
