2005 Mazda 3 Engine Swap

I received a 2005 Mazda 3 as a gift and during the transportation of the vehicle somehow the oil pan and ac compressor got torn off the engine block along with part of the block. I'm currently looking for a replacement engine and had a question. Can I use an engine from an automatic Mazda 3 2.3 and just use my old clutch and flywheel assembly and the manual transmission in my manual Mazda 3 2.3?

Hi there, thank you for the donation.

That should not be a problem at all, as long as it is from the same year or the engine No has the same prefix, this will not be a problem.
