My daughter hit a curb and bent two rims and ruined two tires. I purchased 4 new tires and rims and had them installed, balanced and aligned. The car steering wheel shimmys andl shakes at certain speeds. It comes and goes also. I looked under neath but no noticable damage except one strut has a dent on the outside wall. Could a damaged strut cause this, or a bent tie rod. How can you tell if a tie rod is bent?

Is it safe for her to drive?

Hi there,

If something is bent a wheel alignment will pick it up, i would be getting a reputable aligner to inspect this asap as it is not all that safe to drive and you may destroy your new tyres quickly if not repaired.
