I recently went to have my tires aligned, and the mechanic says he is unable to do it because something is bent underneath (I hit a curb), possibly the spindle. How expensive is something like that to repair? If it isn't the spindle, what else might it be?

it might be the springs, it may be broken that's why, better buy one (it's best to buy online) and had it installed...
