will not start

Hi, I have a Mazda 2 Genki. a couple of months ago the drivers side door was locked so I removed the trim the actuator was broken and arms broken. I pulled them out and have been using it unable to lock the door or use the central locking or key fob but car was running fine . Yesterday morning went to start the car immobilizer light and hold light is flashing no sound at all when I try to start it and then battery and engine light come on. I am at a loss as to what exactly it is I have checked fuses and they seem to be okay, would it have anything to do with no internals in drivers door and central locking I.e immobilizer or is it battery starter alternator or transmission being the hold light is flashing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

More than likely the missing door module tripped the security system and shut down the car. It may have been someone with a remote that was close enough that it triggered the system and when it did not get a response from the module it tripped.

Replace the module, reset the system and it should be okay.

Basically you should be able to install the replacement part with the battery disconnected, Then use the door lock and key to lock/unlock the system. Then try the remote. You may need a scan tool to verify operation of the remote. Mazda had a few different systems worldwide in the 1999-2005 years. Should be covered in the owners manual for the country of production.
