I have the Maruti 800 lpg model. Carburetor type. I am using lo gas lpg kit. my friends are getting around 350 km mileage for 14 kg gas. But am getting 240 km only. I cleaned the lpg kit. Is I need to do modification in kit or I need to change the entire kit? .help me please.

Hello,

The LP kit is kind of a specialty thing but I would think it would have to do with the spark plugs. Have you changed them recently.?

Please let us know.

Cheers, Ken

LPG conversions can be tricky. Did a few on other engines over the years. Check every connection for leaks. Then check the settings on the mixer and be sure you're not set to run rich. Even a tiny change in there can kill your mileage. Check your exhaust for back pressure. Just like running petrol exhaust blockage will cause power loss that you overcome by pressing the pedal down more. If your friends or even one is running the SAME kit, swap the mixers and see if your mileage goes up. If not and theirs stays the same, try swapping the regulators. If things still stay the same you probably have engine issues.
