MAP sensor location

I need to replace my MAP sensor on my car listed above SS model.

It is pushed into place on the top of the intake manifold just behind the throttle body. Remove the connector and pull straight up with a slight twist. Apply a small dab of oil to the seal on the replacement and reverse the removal process to install the new one.
What is the reason for replacement?

Wasn't there. it was actually on top of the manifold itself.
