I replaced my MAF, MAP and turbo o boost sensor was getting a MAF sensor code. unhooked battery let the system drain like it says, it was good for a week now getting the same code and same problems. also, it seems to be running lean. I also replaced my upstream o2 sensor. It has new fuel injectors, but I can’t figure it out. starts right up no problem then starts sputtering and jumping.

Hi,

I noticed it has been a couple of days since you have been contacted. By chance, have you made any progress? If not, let me give it a go.

The idea that you have already replaced the intake air flow sensor (MAF), leads me to believe there must be a wiring issue or there could even be a vacuum leak. You indicated you feel it is running lean. Are you certain that the air inlet tube between the air filter box and the throttle body are in good condition, properly attached, and tight? Also, disconnect the MAF and make sure there is no corrosion or damage to the pins in the harness.

Next, if you have a live data scan tool, check the short-term fuel trims when the engine is at operating temp and let me know what you find.

Before you get into going crazy with diagnostics, make sure to check the following.

1) Engine Vacuum Leak
2) Air Flow Restriction
3) Throttle Body for Dirt Issues
4) don't laugh... Check for exhaust leaks pre-catalytic converter or exhaust restrictions

As far as the code, I attached the description and the diagnostics related to the code. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe
