Car stalls out in while idling

Made a stop and put the car in park first it sounded as if it was skipping then it cut off. I was able to restart it with no problems. I also noticed that while driving once I let off the gas it sounds like it wants to cut off.

There could be many reasons for this.

Is the check engine light on?

1. Dirty throttle body.

2. EGR valve stuck open.

3. Idle air control in the throttle body not working.

4. Map sensor.
