There are quite a few videos on the internet that show similar vehicles with removing the ball joint, however the manual says to remove and replace the entire lower control arm.
However, they sell the ball joint by itself so I would recommend removing the lower control arm and then putting it on a table and to remove the ball joint.
While I don't have a process for removing the ball joint, all you need to do is remove the snap ring and then hammer it out. Then you can rent a press to press the new one in.
