Dropped bolt in first hole after thermostat hole on engine block
Can not get bolt out nor see it

Did you have the intake manifold removed at the time?

I didn't see your picture the first time. That is the EGR port. You do need to get that bolt out. Try to get a small magnet on a flex extension.

The egr port goes 90 degrees towards the back end of truck and as well has Chanel towards front of truck
Can you maybe explain the path or pathways of the egr port to help my fishing technique

I have no idea what direction it goes. Just let the magnet follow the port.

No, worse. It's headed through the intake and into the cylinder so do not crank the engine over.

If it reaches the cylinder you have to pull the head off but I doubt it has gone that far yet. Just get a magnet and get it out.
