Low power engine specially in second gear. The rpm drops even when if I am stepping on the gas pedal. High fuel consumption. My previous mileage is 9km/100l but now it is 15km/100l.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a mass air flow sensor that is out. These sensors can go out without causing a check engine light.

Here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when changing the sensor out.

Please let us know what happens.

I was scheduled tomorrow for service in hyundai. I want to know what are the other problems so that I can explain or I have an idea in every parts that they want me to replace. Becease I went to hyundai 2 weeks age to report that I have a low power engine and high fuel consumption after they tune up, change my oil and replace my air filter and engine wash, but they told me to replace my sparkplug. But the problem is still there.

I dont know how. But I feel the engine is on low power and high mileage. I talked to two different mechanic: 1. The casa hyundai mechanic and 2. The shell philippines. They both told me that it was the clutch.
