Ticking and knocking sound runs rough. Oil not getting to lifters. Checked cylinder 1 spark plug oil and gas on spark plug other three are fine. No code for low oil pressure car was running good after timing chain replaced 2days later rattling knocking sound and low oil pressure stop engine light came on. I have replaced crankshaft sensor VVT solenoid. What can seem to be the problem with low oil pressure? Also did Mode 6 and picture show results. Replaced timing chain ran perfect until code P0335 came on replaced crankshaft sensor now I have rough idle and some knocking sound from top of motor and low oil pressure stop engine light is on. Checked oil it is full but smells like gas. What’s causing a low oil warning light to come on? And also did Mode 6 on BlueDriver scanner and test was completed and failed for cam phaser rationality test. I don’t know what this mean. Test numbers are 35 B0 0-135 counts and my count was 136 counts so I was over by 1 count. 35 B1 was also 136 counts over by 1 count.

With low oil pressure the camshaft position functionality test will fail that is normal. What can sometimes happen is debris such as old gasket material can get inside the engine and plug up the oil pump pick up screen or the oil pump pressure relief valve can get stuck open but the debris as well. When doing this kind of job cleanliness is of utmost importance. I would remove the oil pan to check for sludge, metal and gasket material. Here is how in the images below. Please let us know what happens.
