Hi to all,

My car displays low oil pressure on the screen. What could cause the problem as there is oil in the engine and sounds nice and smooth while works?

Another problem is parking brake fault.
When I and turn it off then apples the parking brake (but the light which should turn on does not turn on ) automatically as it should I think. Then later if you want to release that, the handler does not release the parking brake.
Then a message applets say parking brake fault.

Thanks in advance.

For oil pressure it may be a bad oil filter or low on oil or bearings going bad. Check with a manual pressure gauge to see what you have. For parking brake it may be a stuck cable or a brake operation problem which we do not have information for.

Hello,

I would rent a manual gauge and check it out for myself. It could be you have a oil pump pick up that is plugged with sludge that will hurt the engine if you keep driving.

You will need to jack up the car.

Please let us know what happens, we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
