Car shut off while driving and low-no power light turned on

I was driving my car and it completely shut off. No sound nothing, just shut off. The low-no power light came on. Tried jumping it did not work.

What happened with the jump-start? Did the starter crank the engine but the engine didn't start and run? Was the starter still dead? Do the head lights work and are they as bright as normal? What is the car's mileage?
