I have this code on my vehicle listed above TFSDI 3.0 liters. I got this code P310B, does this mean my pump in the tank is malfunctioning or is it referring to the high-pressure pump of its fuel pressure sensor itself.

Please help me out with the values I need to see on live data and any other information that can help me sort it out.

Hi,

As far as the code is concerned, it deals with low fuel pressure or fuel pressure regulation. However, it isn't listed as a code for this year and model. Are there other codes that are present? Also, let me know what the vehicle is doing.

I attached the directions from my manual that I have for your vehicle. Take a look and let me know if they help.

Take care,

joe

Thanks very much Jacob. May I have the diagram for the fuel line system, also the fuel pressure filter is located on the left or right side of the tank?

I doubt if that pump has pressure, because when I take out the fuel line, and I manually activate the pump, the fuel flows but slowly, to fill a 4 liters gallon, it can take up to 7 minutes. I doubt.

Hi,

As far as the fuel filter goes, it is in the tank. See pic 1 below.

When I go to fuel pump replacement, I get a few different things. Take a look at pic 2. I need to know if the pump in the tank is what is needed or the high-pressure pump is what you are looking for.

I have an arrow pointing to the one in the fuel tank.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

The first picture shows the location of the fuel filter. It is under the hood on the diesel. Picture 3 is an exploded view of all pump components in the tank.

The remaining pictures are the legends for each part in pic 3.

Let me know if this helps.

Joe
