The fan not turning on. I check relay. I check continuity. I replace fan. Still not working. When I switch it to A/C it turns on but the car RPMs go all heywire. And the car wants shut off. can this be a real problem to the engine?

Hi,

Since we know the fan is good, let's check the fan relay system. Follow these directions. The attached pics correlate with the directions.

Hi,

The fan shouldn't be on when the heater is on. However, the A/C and fan will turn on with the defroster. The defroster uses the A/C to dehumidify the air. Is that what is happening?

Let me know.
