Low compression on cylinder three?

What exactly was done to the vehicle? You mentioned clearing the misfires, do you mean clearing the misfire codes? Is there a code for the low compression or have you done a compression test already?

Sounds like the valve was not completely closed. For each cylinder you will need to make sure the valve is closed before you do a leak down, or it will blow out the exhaust/intake. There will be an acceptable amount of leakage indicated on the dial. In any case, what were your psi readings for the compression test?

Yikes, that does make me wonder what happened to the valves during cleaning. I would definitely take the head off and check the valves for seating issues. If the compression is that low and your leak down test fails because air is audibly going somewhere else, there may be some damage during the disassembly or reassembly, possibly during the cleaning process. Please double check this and let us know, and don't forget pictures, we would love to see!
