My car started ticking really loud but when i unhook one of the coils it stops. What does this mean? Or what causes this?

Could be a few things. From a bad rod or main bearing to a bad valve or even a faulty piston or bad plug or coil that's arcing.
This is one of those things that a shop needs to hear up close to determine. But those are the likely suspects. Hope it is just a faulty coil.
