It just started ticking when it's turned on. It lasts until I turn it off. I don't know what could be the problem.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.
Can you tell approximately where the sound is coming from? Does it seem to be under the hood, in the passenger compartment, under the vehicle?
Here is a link that describes how to identify engine noises. It may help you.
Also, if you could record it and upload it for me to hear, it may be helpful.
Let me know.

The sound is coming from the dash. It sounds like it's coming from the air vent when I turn on the heat. I will have to record the sound tomorrow when I get out and about. It's very late here.

Welcome back:
Here too. LOL If it is in the dash, pay attention if it changes pitch or intensity when you change the fan speed.
