loud squeling or rubbing sound coming from the Back passage side.

Loud noise it started when I drive over 40mph but now its when I turn or even come out of a park. And if I continue to drive the noise gets extremely loud until push on breaks or stop. What could it be. I have an appointment at the chev store but not till friday.

I could be a bad wheel bearing causing the noise. It usually is a growling noise that gets louder with vehicle speed and can get more pronounced with turns.
Does that seem right to you, if not describe the type of noise in more detail and where on the vehicle do you hear it.
