Loud clunking noise only while in four wheel drive

It is coming from the front end, and is very loud when you turn in either direction. It almost sounds like something big has broken off and just flopping around.

This is a common problem and it sounds like one of the wheel bearing hubs is not working right. I would replace the both if you find one to be bad. Here is a diagrams to help you see how the system works below.
