loud bang when started?

When I started the engine lagged then there was loud bang and started. it ran fine for the five miles I drove home.

Where did the noise come from? front, rear, exhaust system? Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response. It could be you had a backfire inside the intake manifold.
